Ernie Harwell, the acclaimed voice of the Detroit Tigers, had one of the longest runs by a broadcaster with one major league club, calling Tigers games for 42 seasons. This front page of a special commemorative section, dated Wednesday May 5th 2010, the day after he died, is a reproduction of the Detroit Free Press newspaper.
